  • For genital piercings: During intercourse or any play that would involve another’s fluids YOU MUST use an appropriate barrier to keep foreign fluids from coming in contact with your fresh piercing until your piercing is healed. Micro

Healing times will vary from person to person: but generally when the tissue has again returned to its pre-piercing appearance and has no discharge on or around the jewelry this is usually a good sign things are pretty cool with your piercing.

Full healing time will vary but usually at about one month

How to clean your new Surface Anchor / Microdermal: (NO MORE THAN 2 times Daily)

  • Wash your hands before ever touching your piercing
  • Using a q-tip or clean cloth and luke warm water gently remove any blood residue that may be left around the area, being very careful to not lift up on the piece of jewelry and move it from its original resting place.
  • Also letting warm water run over the area for an extended period of time will help soften any of the dried matter that has collected.
  • Use: Sea Salt Water Soaks: (no more than twice daily)
  • Dissolve ¼ teaspoon of non-iodized natural sea salt with one cup of luke warm water soak the piercing for a few minutes and then rinse the area off with water.
  • Microdermals / Surface Anchors are a newer type of surface piercing: Be aware that they can and have many known and unknown complications: they are I would say very “TEMPERMENTAL PIERCINGS” and can be prone to regularly act up. Be patient and do not agitate so that they can heal well and accommodate to your body.

    • Never touch or pick off dried matter from your new piercing without washing your hands
    • While healing stay away from Lakes, Rivers and possibly soaking in baths unless you utilize a waterproof bandage (while using this also be aware that you do not restrict your new piercing)
    • Until healed: Stay away from other peoples body fluids (you know what I’m talkin’ bout)
    • Until healed and even sometimes after healed watch: soaps, dirt, glitters, some tanning products, lotions, perfumes, hair spray, hair dye along with any other items that may agitate or collect on or around your new piercing.
    • Drunken intoxicating voyages: Be careful you are not invincible and your new piercing is not either.

It is in your piercings best interest to continue to lay flat against the tissue. If your new piercing becomes snagged or starts to push upward you may see some of the post sticking up which may cause the micro piercing to rock and/or start a road to rejection: so please be as cautious as you can to not agitate and you may want to consider a smaller rise.

    Tattoo Removal Care Instructions

The tattoo removal laser treatment may create a superficial burn wound. Some patients may experience bruising and or swelling. There will be an immediate whitening of the treated area, which usually lasts for several minutes this will eventually fade leaving a possible blurred vision of the treated tattoo. Many clients will possibly develop blisters, crusts, or scabs within 8-72 hours, which may last for 1-2 weeks or even more. The treated areas may be pink or pale after the treatment and possibly even after the scab separates. Scarring, which can be hypertrophic or even keloid, can occur but this very rare. Loss of skin pigment in the treated area can occur, and is temporary, except in very rare cases. Healing is usually complete within 4-6 weeks, this will vary.

Care for your new Tattoo Removal:

    • 1. Keep the treated area dry for the first 6 hours after your treatment
    • 2. Keep the treated area clean and dry while it is healing. Clean the area gently with soap and water and then pat the area dry until scabbing is completed its cycle.
    • 3. Blistering is common and is likely to occur as soon as 8 hours after your treatment. Do not be alarmed, blisters heal very well and are part of the normal healing process. Blisters indicate your immune system is healing the area and beginning to remove the ink from your tattoo. It is natural for blisters to pop (DO NOT POP THEM YOURSELF), and this helps the skin to heal faster in many cases. Continue to put antibiotic ointment over the blisters once they have popped for at least 24 hours.
    • 4. Do not pick at the scab or allow the skin to become scraped, as this may result in a 3D look to the tissue. Shaving should be avoided in the treated area until it is completely healed.
    • 5. Feel free to shower 6 hours after the treatment, but take care to avoid high pressure water directly hitting the treated area. Baths, hot tubs, swimming pool, or any form of soaking is not suggested until all blisters and scabs are completely healed, as they may increase the risk of infection.
    • 6. Exercise is generally safe after treatment, taking into account the other after care instructions provided here.
    • 7. Wear a sun block with an SPF of 25 or higher over the area for 3 months following the treatment. Do not wear makeup or any cream or medication on or near the treated area for 48 hours.
    • 8. Itching is very common due to the dehydrating effect of the laser treatment. Use Aquaphor, vitamin E ointment, or hydrocortisone cream lightly to the treatment area.
    • 9. If the area looks infected (honey colored crusting and oozing or spreading redness), if you experience an unusual discomfort or bleeding, if any other complications develop, or if you have any questions or concerns, contact us immediately.
